Back in the blogosphere, and today, I present a trilogy of cover gag pages from late in the era of the Topper.
This appeared all through 1989, but in 1990, Beryl the Peril would take over not just the cover, but the centre pages.
I don't know who the artists were (I do, now. All are by Gordon Bell. Thanks, Andy.) Scaredy Cat, Tricky Dicky and Hungry Horace can be seen lurking about. this selection appeared between March and June 1989.
